E-Commerce & Digital Coordinator (12-Month Maternity Cover, Full-Time)

Location: Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an E-Commerce & Digital Coordinator to join us full-time, in-house at our Mount Maunganui studio for a 12-month maternity cover. This role plays a vital part in shaping our online presence, ensuring seamless product launches, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. While the primary focus is e-commerce and digital marketing, the role also involves assisting with picking and packing online orders when needed.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

ECOMMERCE & WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

 

Product Setup & Enrichment – Upload new products, write thoughtful descriptions and fit notes, tag categories and edits, and ensure imagery is optimised before launch.

Website Updates – Keep collections, homepage banners, and navigation fresh. Create bespoke collections to support marketing campaigns.

Sales & Pricing Adjustments – Update pricing across different markets for seasonal promotions.

Journal Posts – Upload and format journal content to align with Marle’s aesthetic and brand identity.

Store Media Kit – Organise high-resolution product imagery, coordinate retouching and resizing, and distribute assets to stockists.

Online Packaging Collateral – Oversee the design and production of postcards, stickers, and tissue paper in collaboration with vendors.

 

MARKETING & CUSTOMER SERVICE

 

Email Marketing (Klaviyo) – Design, schedule, and send email campaigns, ensuring alignment with stock levels and marketing themes. Refresh automated flows seasonally.

Customer Support (Gorgias) – Respond to inquiries via email, live chat, social media, and phone, providing thoughtful and efficient support.

Returns Management – Process online returns through the Loop Returns platform, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

 

SAMPLES, GIFTING & ORDER COORDINATION

 

Press, Influencer & Gifting Coordination – Manage PR loans and influencer send-outs. Coordinate sample shipments to AU & USA agents ahead of sales and lookbook shoots.

Friends & Family Pre-Orders – Organise and track lookbooks, order forms, and pre-orders for internal teams.

Occasional Order Fulfilment – Assist with picking and packing online orders during busy periods. 

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Previous experience in customer service is essential, with a warm and considerate approach to all interactions.

Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online retail, ideally within fashion or lifestyle brands.

Confident using Shopify, Pinterest and Klaviyo, with a strong understanding of digital tools and platforms.

Detail-oriented and highly organised, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

A clear and engaging communicator, both in customer interactions and product copywriting.

A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to help wherever needed.
